Letting Go

When I was home recently, my Uncle gave me this $100 bill. It reminded (reminds) me of my Aunt, and the $2,500 I blew on drugs.

I haven’t used the bill. I wanted to keep it in my wallet forever. But I know this is just another attempt to grasp something I can no longer have or hold or see.

I have to let it go.
